Residing in South-East London, Hackney-born Etta has always seen through more than just her own pair of eyes. 

 

Wanting to communicate stories of love, tragedy, conflict and triumph, Etta shies away from the structure that is often imposed in the industry, instead choosing to create freely and honestly, for others as well as herself.

 

Not just a writer, editor, or cinematographer, Etta creates for the regular people she grew up with. She creates for all the people whose extraordinary stories need to be told. Whose stories deserve to be told. 

 

Most importantly, with SOFTLAUNCH, Etta aims  to promote safe spaces for the community that encourages us all to engage, share and take control of our narrative, our art and our stories!
